Ten Miles Out is an on-going collection of compositions inspired by Monhegan Island — a small island approximately ten miles off the coast of Maine. It is not my ambition to represent the island in exacting detail or accuracy. Rather, I aim to build introspection through the use of color, texture, and light. Guided by my instinctive proclivity toward quietness, these scenes offer a respite from an otherwise loud world.
