Seeking utopia

Through photomontage, digital manipulation, and the influences of various texts, Lilian Day Thorpe strives to portray what otherwise exists only in her imagination: elaborate, fantastical historical fictions, or memories of the past and visions of the future.

The Small Prints Project

In 2018 Lilian launched her Small Prints Project, a collection of miniature, open edition fine art prints which are affordable and archival, making them accessible to professional and amateur collectors alike. The body of work grows each week, with the release of one new print every Sunday.
